I’ve added a new combat mechanic to 2-handed weapons. In previous Eclipse Based titles, the faster weapon would ALWAYS be the better choice because, while the 2-handed weapon always had a CHANCE to hit higher, the 1-handed weapons were always faster and therefore had a higher rate of hitting high damage numbers.
Now, 2-handed weapons will have a MUCH higher damage rate. Now you can use that Great Battle-Axe and never fear of taking 2 seconds to deal an amazing (sarcasm) 2 damage.
That being said, even the real maps could use some work. I like them, they are full of detail, they do not lack in that aspect. But it needs more of a “naturistic” style. Such as the tall grass, the patterns are very blocky and don’t resemble real grass, real grass doesn’t grow in blocks. Everything is just so blocky, try to make things flow and don’t be afraid for random.
Okayyyy, long time no post. Yes the game is still in dev, I just have school. Finals >.< I’m in the process of adding a full blown tutorial that is unique for each class (all instanced maps)(meaning that the player will have no help with a friend for the tut) As well, a new dungeon, new mobs, new quests, and a whole new floating isle are in the lengthy process of being made. This major expansion will add hours of gameplay and a whole new whack of community fun. As well as a website coming soon! (I promise that it wont be a (webs)ite) Server is offline for now. Hahaha, well, kind of went on a rant. Hope this cleared any confusion up. Cheers!
