Modifying Player Movement

I’m currently using Eclipse Origins and am wondering how to use pixel based movement as opposed to tile based. I’ve looked into the modPlayer.bas in the server’s SRC folder and found the PlayerMove sub, but couldn’t recognize anything that I’d change to stop the player from making 32pixel steps. Thanks a lot for the help.

I wouldn’t know the answer to your question, but I do believe the best person to answer your question would be Robin. If you added [EO] to your thread title, they will be more likely to see this thread and provide an answer.

It’s a huge job. You’d need to re-program pretty much anything that’s based on the player’s position or the tile engine.

It’s not something I can tutorialise, I’m afraid. You’d need to do it yourself.
