Well it’s more of a storyboard, but a walkthrough guide before you start, that will be in flash when you first enter the game, you go page by page.
I know it probably needs a little cleaning here and there.
You wake up to your parents calling. They tell you how you’re a leeching cow and an extra mouth to feed. Your old enough to get a job and live off your own earnings. They pack your bag with ‘essentials’. Which just happens to be 1000 coins and a ticket to [insert some random place here].
You know you can’t rebel against your parents (they’re like demons) and you take the ticket and head for ship. On boarding the ship you meet a few people. They’re a bit ‘weird’ but you know that they’re jolly good people on the inside. Just when the ship’s ride is about to come to an end. Your new found friends give you 1 fishing pole, 1 crop cutter, 10 pieces of bait, 5 twigs, 2 large leafs and a hammer with a basket.
You get off the boat only to see the cost and a thick forest behind you. You convince yourself the destination is a little bit further in and enter the forest. You travel further and futher and get deeper and deeper not knowing your slowly shrinking in size. You reach a somewhat open space, like a little clearing with a stump in the middle. You look to your far left and encounter a ‘giant’ species who cheerfully says… ‘so it’s your the next one.’ He parts some branches and beckons you forward and you get a clear view of the bustling city below. Your mouth drops but you quickly remember to shut it again and avoid any embarrassment. As you walk through he’s simply says ‘Welcome… to TinyVille’.
Watching your step you make your way into the land. But you swore you heard him say ‘good luck’. What did you need luck for?
One small step at a time you try to avoid slipping but this attempt was in vain as you fall and find yourself… still falling. You fall through a time- warp, a portal if you will; landing yourself in a similar land which you were making your way to but quite different. Bee’s the size of mummy’s car and a couple walking out of a mushroom house!? You shake your head, trying to get some sense as you probably hit your head.
-You now create your character-
I don’t want it to be too cluttered with features. But it’s just a casual mmorpg where; pets, mounts, skills, harvesting, fishing, skills, etc are available.
I know most games have spells but I’m thinking a tree in the centre of each region contains precious particles. When your mana runs out you go there to replenish it. If I could make it harder, I’d have mana for each region; like incarnations and spells of shadow will need shadow mana from the tree in the shadow region.
