SFX

when i try to make it rain or thunder  it says that rain.mp3 does not exist
and when i go to the SFX folder rain is a .wav not a .mp3 and with vista i cant figure out how to change it.

Try googling “Wav To Mp3” Converter… That should do the trick.

Look for vista fix.

@Desiderium:

Look for vista fix.

The Vista fix doesn’t solve this issue, it’s a bug.
(but it’s always good to download and install the Vista Fix anyway; it’s located int he Bugs And Errors Board).

He will have to convert it into MP3.

@OP: As Redyz has said (and it’s nice to see new users helping new users :azn:), your best bet is getting a wav to mp3 converter of google.  I use Audacity.

Of course, you’ll need the LAME mp3 codec to convert even with Audacity. Google “lame.dll” too.

i have vista fix

Okay, so does it only happen with this sound effect, or does it happen with all of them?

I’m not upset i keep accidentally turning on caps lock

Might be just a bug.

Okay, try this.
Have a copy of rain.mp3 AND rain.wav in both your Music folder, BGS folder and SFX folder.
