Considering EE 3.0 can be fully 3d with models couldn’t you add Lighting? (Glare effects, dynamic light, light itselfs {2.7 doesnt have any lighting effects}, all that shit)

If so, It would nice to get some people together at the release of 3.0 to work on this.

I believe I remember HM saying that there will be dynamic lighting, along with dusk and dawn, with sunrise and sunset.

Something like that.

I dont. I remember dusk dawn and etc but that was the vb6 version

Edit: this would be with 3d. Much different.

He was using DirectX’s 3d system to have the light system in VB6, I believe.

It would be nice if HM could tell us more about the model format.

I’ve noticed that you won’t get information unless you ask him

Its an Object-Oriented config file basically.

Object.verts = 3
Object.vert0.x = 0
Object.vert0.y = 0
Object.vert0.z = 0
Object.vert0.r = 1
Object.vert0.g = 1
Object.vert0.b = 1
etc.
In essence, that is what 3ds format is, except it uses bytes instead of Strings.
