Eclipse Realm of Magic

Hi all, so i have started my eclipse project Realm of Magic!

The idea is that you will have a base of operations in a town with a guild building to gather supplies,

within that building you will be able to access the Realm of Magic that will port you to zones under threat.

Each Zone will be 10 levels so starting with 1-10 once u reach level 10 you can move to the next portal in the realm being 11-20.

Considering this is a project, not an engine, nobody’s caring too much about performance, and features are explicitly stated on the OP.

10/10 reply for an engine that actually does deceive its users.

1.5/10 reply for a project that thrives off of eye candy to actually, you know, show off.

Eye candy is what gets users interested in playing over 50% of the time, just saying. From what I’ve seen, people have only commented on how it looks, not how they’ll think it preforms or the mechanic specifics. Looks good, and I like what I’m seeing from a lot of recent projects,

Love the map, Interface need more work

Looks good, but I see a bit of a difference with the cave map you made and the rest, the graphics/tilesets are different, but not too different to be unappealing, I say keep up the good work, and hopefully you make a good story line too!

I really like how the maps look. Plus the idea is pretty cool. If executed correctly this game could be really interesting. 😄

Hi guys what do you think of cave map? Im not sure if im over doing the green tiles?

its a great cave tileset but it does look pretty living forest in there… to me its looks as if i could walk south and exit the cave because sunlight is pouring in making the plants grow more there

ye i know what u mean im trying to give it an underground feel rather than a cave if u know what i mean, water normally leads to greens so going with that theme. makes maps look more colorful i guess 😛

Looks nice. IMO, you should remove some of the greenery to the south, since it looks pretty light there, hence why a bunch of plants can grow. Other than that, it looks good!

It looks good just a bit over done, and it looks off where the spikes are sitting on the grass, but looks good other than that
